The Juki industrial system "feed box" or square transport has been transferred to the home sewing machines. This system enables you to create high quality stitches on all types of fabric.
For professional results even on the most difficult materials such as silk, chiffon and similar you just have to slide the front lever to move to the hole for unique needle and sew lighter fabrics with a perfect penetration of the needle: the perfection of transport and of sewing of an industrial machine!
The plate with a single hole will not allow the fabric to be pushed into the needle hole and also in freehand sewing you can get precision and perfection. Sew with confidence, when setting the single needle function you can select only straight stitches.
The sensor system for buttonhole allows an optimum feeding on any fabric. Buttonholes in one step with the sensor that measures and sews evenly the right and left sides.
Maximum versatility with the function assignable to the foot control: with the back (heel) of the foot you can now lift the leg, cut threads, reinforce the stitch or make a single stitch by pressing on the heel of the foot control.
When sewing is stopped with the needle in the lowered position the presser foot is automatically raised to allow movement of the fabric. Sew corners or easily rotates your work, when you start again sewing the foot lowers automatically and continues sewing.
You can adjust the speed of the starting stitch and there's also the reverse stit in three steps: fast, normal and slow.
For the fastening stitch at the beginning and at the end of the seam, you can choose two types: "inverse point" and "lock stitch". If you press the lock stitch button in the middle of a seam, the machine stops after sewing a cycle of this stitch.
By pressing and holding down the needle up/down button, you can sew slowly. Sew corners, stop and start again with the utmost precision.
With the knee-lifting lever supplied the foot can be raised and lowered up to 12mm, keeping your hands free.
The threading is one thing that makes you lose much time. With the DX5 Juki just place the thread in the guide and pull the lever down and magically you can thread the needle with one hand.
To fill the bobbin just wrap a few rounds the thread and pull it through the guide. It's possible to load the bobbin at any time, even while you are sewing as it is done by an independent motor, no work stoppage, and use the trimmer after the winding.
To thread the bobbin stand just follow the guide and you do not need to draw the bobbin thread.
The LED light illuminates the work area evenly to avoid shadows.
